The Ivy City Garden

Located in the shadow of the Gherkin, The Trinity Bell is a beautiful Victorian-era City pub, with a basement Gin Palace and a modern British menu, making this the Square Mile's latest dining hotspot.

In one sweep, the view from Mercer Roof Terrace takes in London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard. Here, guests can dine al fresco. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to bring the outdoors in. The menu celebrates the best of modern British cooking, showcasing meat and fish from the British Isles, cooked using our charcoal oven. Starters include British asparagus, Cornish crab, and hay-smoked beef tartare. Mains include charcoal grilled steaks such as our signature 1.2kg Tomahawk, Suffolk free-range chicken glazed with honey and lavender.

A British Tasting Menu experience for Dinner, and a choice of Set Menus for Lunch, hidden in London’s Smithfield, overlooking the historical Church of St Bartholomew the Great. We received our first Michelin Star in March 2023 and a Green Michelin Star in March 2024.
